Q: Why is it called Turtlemoose.Woods?
A: Luke's favorite animal is the moose. Sea turtles are also wonderful animals and thus retain a spot on Luke's awesome animal list.

Q: What sort of projects do you do?
A: Have a vision, produce a drawing, finalize dimensions and other details, and then the magic begins.

Q: What does Turtlemoose.Woods packaging look like?
A: Turtlemoose.Woods products are always packaged as follows ->
1) The product is wrapped in a plastic film, protecting it from scratches, dings, or any other damage that might occur out of Luke's control.
2) A Certificate of Authenticity and Care Instructions are placed in an envelope, which is then sealed and placed inside the box.
3) The wrapped product is then placed inside a bubble-wrapped box. Padding is placed all around the product to ensure it doesn't move around in the box during shipping and handling.
4) The box is then completely sealed for its journey to you.
5) The word 'Fragile' is written on ALL sides of the box before shipping.
6) After it is shipped, a tracking number will be sent so you can monitor its progress at your convenience. Luke will send you the tracking number to the main communications path you have been using to communicate with him.

Q: Does Turtlemoose.Woods offer gift wrapping?
A: of course!

Q: How long does a project usually take to complete?
a: Your order will be worked on and completed in the order it was received. You will be notified of your queue number and progression.

Q: Are shipping prices included in the price I see on your products?
A: No. The price you pay for the item is separate from shipping.

Q: If I want something custom, do you charge extra for it?
A: It depends on materials, finishes, colors, and time. Larger pieces cost more than smaller pieces.

Q: What if I want something you have already made, even though Turtlemoose.Woods is a creator of One-of-One products? Do I have to have it altered slightly?
A: Turtlemoose.Woods takes pride in making you a One-of-One product. Luke believes it is a special opportunity to own a product that is completely unique, completely original and/or completely One-of-a-Kind. that is the whole reason Turtlemoose.Woods exists.

Q: What are the types of wood you use?
A: Walnut and maple has been a popular choice recently. However, I can get any wood you would like, subject to price changes and material availability. Some popular woods are walnut, maple, cherry, alder, poplar, white oak, red oak, mahogany, and others. In the blog section, you will find an article(s) on wood types and identifications.
